Your corner bakery at Voltastraße. We open at 5:30, when the first trays of croissants and filled baguettes come out warm. Later the counter fills with breakfast bowls, hot toasts, homemade manti, matcha and iced coffee.

Lackery, which many regulars still call Läckerei, is a small, women-owned café and bakery on Brunnenstraße, two minutes from U8 Voltastraße and Humboldthain park. The ovens are on before the city wakes up, so croissants, pretzels and filled baguettes are ready for the early shift and the first lectures.
Through the day the display case turns into lunch: breakfast bowls with egg, feta or falafel, hot toasts and bagels, kısır, and our own homemade manti, Turkish dumplings with yoghurt and spiced butter. Coffee comes from a proper espresso machine, and the matcha and iced coffee line is the afternoon favourite.
Fresh ingredients, made with love, and good for you. That's the promise on our posters, and what the regulars order.

Hand-folded Turkish dumplings with yoghurt and spiced butter. Traditional with meat, or vegetarian with potato or fresh spinach.

I have been coming to this bakery for about four years. I usually get a croissant with cheese and a coffee, and sometimes a matcha latte. The baked goods are always fresh and very delicious.
